We sit here in the almost silence
There is a scratchy radio playing a couple rooms away.
We both wait
for the other person 
to speak first.
I almost speak
but I stop myself when I see your lips part in the slightest of ways.
But you stop too.
So now we're back to where we started.
Almost silence.
Almost there.
Almost giving in to you.
